Peugeot 508. Prices start at £18,150
Three months on from the public debut of the Peugeot 508 at the Paris Motor Show – and three months before it hits the road in the UK – Peugeot has dropped us details of the model and engine range – and the all important Peugeot 508 prices – to help buyers find a reason to toddle off to their local Peugeot dealer and stick an order in. This early – and without having driven the 508 – we can’t say if it’s a good car or not.

The Lister Knobbly - one of the most famous British racing cars of the 1950s - is now available to buy new, with prices starting from £249,000 for track-only versions and £259,000 for road car derivatives. Lister Cars was founded by George Lister in 1954 and its Jaguar-based ‘Lister Knobbly’ race cars were among the most competitive cars in motor racing during the late 1950s. In May 2013 three existing companies - George Lister Engineering of Cambridge, Brian Lister Light Engineering and Lister Storm – were amalgamated following investment by Warranty Wise to create Lister Motor Company Limited.

This weekend may be petrolhead heaven at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, but FoS visitors can have an extra fix of high octane fuel when they get home tonight with episode 3 of series 20 of Top Gear. Tonight, it’s a Top Gear road trip, and this time they’re quite close to home – Spain. It seems the mission is to help Spain’s struggling economy by taking a trio of the very best convertible supercars to the Iberian Peninsula – the McLaren 12C Spider (not the MP4-12C any more), the Ferrari 458 Spyder and the Audi R8 V10 Spyder.
